JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jabodetabek area on Sunday, August 16, will be dominated by sunny to cloudy conditions.

The air temperature is expected to be in the range of 23-35 degrees Celsius, with the hottest conditions potentially occurring during the day in Jakarta, Tangerang, Depok, and Bekasi. Meanwhile, Bogor is expected to be relatively cooler in the morning and evening.

In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is predicted to be sunny to cloudy since morning. Cloud cover has the potential to increase during the day to the afternoon, but in general the chance of rain is expected to be low. The air temperature is in the range of 25-34 degrees Celsius.

In Bogor, the weather condition is predicted to be sunny to cloudy with a temperature of around 23-32 degrees Celsius. Bogor and Puncak areas have the potential to experience increased cloud cover in the afternoon and evening. The public still needs to anticipate the possibility of local rain.

Meanwhile, Depok is predicted to experience sunny to cloudy weather with a temperature of around 24-34 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions are expected to occur in Tangerang with a temperature of around 24-34 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Bekasi has the potential to become one of the areas with the highest temperature in Jabodetabek, namely around 25-35 degrees Celsius. The hot condition is especially likely to be felt in the afternoon and evening.
