Ahok Until Habibie's Family Sends Wreaths At The Residence Of The Late Toeti Heraty

JAKARTA - Dozens of flower bouquets are displayed at the residence of the late Toety Heraty Noerhadi on Jalan Cemara, Menteng, Central Jakarta. This wreath accompanies the departure of the deceased who died today.

Flowers as condolences were sent from a number of figures, such as Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok); BJ Habibie's family; the writer Goenawan Muhammad, Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Benny K. Harman; Chancellor of the University of Indonesia; to Anies Baswedan's wife, Fery Farhati.

Currently, Toety has been buried in TPU Karet Bivouac Block AAii BLAD 5a. The whole family attended the funeral procession.

It is known, Toeti died at 05.10 at the MMC Hospital in Jakarta due to the illness he suffered. Toeti's death was revealed by former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) Jimly Asshiddiqie.

"Innalillahi wainna ilaihi rojiuun. Prof. Dr. Toetty Herati Noerhadi Rooseno has passed away, the big UI family, the world of scientists and Indonesian scholars in general mourn. We wish the best for the deceased. Alfatihah," wrote Jimly on the JimlyAs Twitter account, Sunday , June 13.

The writer, Okky Madasari, also remembers the figure of Toeti during his life. For Okky, Toeti is a writer who should be imitated.

"Goodbye, Mrs. Toeti Heraty. Inspiration, role model, role model. As a writer, scientist, woman. A reader and a lifelong learner. In her old age, she still continues to read the works of the younger generation, even remembering the details in the book," Okky said in the okkymadasari Twitter account.

For information, Toeti was born in Bandung, West Java on November 27, 1933. In 1979, Toeti graduated as a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Indonesia.

In 1994, Toeti received the title of Extraordinary Professor at the Faculty of Letters, University of Indonesia. In 1982-1985, Toeti became Chairman of the Jakarta Arts Council.

One of Toeti's works is a collection of poems entitled "Sajak-Sajak 33" which was published in 1974. The poems in it are "Two Women", "Siklus", "Geneva in July".
