JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo visited a mother who gave birth to her third child positive for COVID-19 in Segorogunung Village, Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency, Saturday, while still implementing health protocols.

Listyanti with her husband, Suripto, and several of her family looked surprised to see the arrival of the number one person in Central Java in his simple residence on the slopes of Mount Lawu.

Suripto confirmed that his wife tested positive for COVID-19 shortly before giving birth to her third child last week.

"My wife, who is positive, sir, is in isolation at home. When she was tested, my wife was pregnant and about to give birth. When the test came out, my wife had just given birth to our third child," he said.

From inside the house, Listyanti seemed to be walking out of the house even though she still looked in pain after giving birth.

"That's the child, please take care, ma'am. 'It's healthy, ma'am, 'here I donate, check on the baby,' said Ganjar while handing some money to Suripto and Listyanti.

In addition to money, Ganjar also gave gifts in the form of basic necessities and several boxes containing health masks.

"While at home, ma'am, don't go too close to other families. Always wear masks, so you can take care. How many children are these? Third? After this family planning, right," Ganjar ordered.
