Call the Attorney General, Prabowo is said to want to maintain national stability

JAKARTA - The Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi confirmed that there was a limited meeting on Saturday, July 11 evening. However, Prasetyo denied President Prabowo Subianto's alleged call for Attorney General ST Burhanuddin because he was angry because of the case of the former Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Ardiansyah.

Prasetyo said Prabowo wanted to get a direct report from the Attorney General regarding the handling of current laws, especially regarding jampidsus.

"Angry? Yes, because there was an incident, of course he wanted to get a report," said Prasetyo Hadi at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 15.

Prasetyo also denied the issue of President Prabowo asking for the Febrie case to be resolved without fuss. According to him, the President only wants to maintain the stability of the government, security and the national economy.

"If we talk about the question of the noise, it is actually not only about this problem," said Prasetyo.

"Many times he also said that we represent the president, the government's conditions for what we just said, building the economy is one of them stability. Well, the condition for stability is of course we hope to reduce the noise. So the spirit of it," he said.

It is known that the Attorney General's Office officially received the transfer of three corruption cases from the National Police's Corruption Eradication Task Force (Kortas Tipidkor) and the Metro Jaya Police who dragged Febrie Adriansyah's name as a suspect.

After Febrie resigned, the position of Jampidsus is now filled by the Acting Head of Jampidsus, Rudi Margono.
