JAYAPURA - President Prabowo Subianto provided 150 packages of basic necessities to refugees in Agisiga District, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua.

Kaops Damai Cartenz Irjen Faizal Ramadhani said humanitarian assistance for residents affected by the conflict who are currently in exile.

A total of 150 food packages were distributed to refugees containing cooking oil, canned milk, sugar, instant noodles, and sardines.

The distribution of the President's assistance to residents affected by the conflict was given to residents spread across four villages, namely Mbamogo, Soali, Tousiga, and Danggoa.

Reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 6, besides distributing assistance, ODC Task Force personnel also carried out trauma healing activities as a form of the government's concern for residents who are still in the evacuation location.

The activity was led by the Dansektor of the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force, Intan Jaya Sector, AKP Syahrial Arditya, and also involved local religious figures.

"This activity is to help restore the psychological condition of refugees, especially children, mothers, and elderly residents," said Inspector General of Police Faizal Ramadhani.

Religious figure Agisiga, Pdt. Ones Mirip, conveyed his appreciation for the government's attention to residents affected by the conflict.

"On behalf of the refugees and the people living in this place, we thank you for the basic materials that have been given by President Prabowo Subianto and the National Police Chief, this assistance is very meaningful for us and gives the people the courage to rise again," said Pdt. Ones Mirip.
