After receiving the report, the Opsnal Team of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kalideres Police conducted an investigation by examining the testimony of witnesses and CCTV footage around the scene of the incident.
The results of the investigation led to the identity of the perpetrator. The police then managed to track down his whereabouts and arrested AF on Jalan Batu Jaya, Batuceper, Tangerang City.

During the arrest, the police also seized a number of evidence in the form of a motorcycle used during the action, mobile phones, wallets, and clothes worn by the perpetrators when committing crimes.
To the investigators, the perpetrator admitted that he had sold all the victim's jewelry for a value of Rp. 8.7 million.
Currently, the perpetrator and the evidence have been secured at the Kalideres Police to undergo further legal proceedings. For his actions, AF was charged with Article 476 in conjunction with Article 492 of the Criminal Code.
