The results of the investigation led to the identity of the perpetrator. The police then managed to track down his whereabouts and arrested AF on Jalan Batu Jaya, Batuceper, Tangerang City.

During the arrest, the police also seized a number of evidence in the form of a motorcycle used during the action, mobile phones, wallets, and clothes worn by the perpetrators when committing crimes.
To the investigators, the perpetrator admitted that he had sold all the victim's jewelry for a value of Rp. 8.7 million.
