JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the flow of money of 1 million US dollars (USD) which is suspected to have been prepared for the Special Committee (Pansus) for the DPR Hajj. Nuruzzaman was examined as a witness in the corruption case for determining quotas and organizing the 2023-2024 hajj pilgrimage at the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag).

However, Budi said that the examination of the suspects is currently focused on completing the case file before it is forwarded to the prosecution stage.
"If the examination of the parties who have been designated as suspects, of course, to complete the investigation file, so that later the investigators can also immediately carry out the second stage, we will proceed from the investigation to the prosecution, not only for the IAA suspect but also for the other three suspects," he said.
Regarding the possibility of summoning members of the DPR Hajj Commission, Budi has not confirmed this step. Investigators are said to still be reviewing all the information that has been obtained.
