Mr. Muda Died After Being Stabbed by a Friend in Front of His Small Child

JAKARTA - A man with the initials AS (35) was found dead covered in blood after being stabbed with a kitchen knife by his friend on Jalan Utan Panjang 3, RT 17/06, Utan Panjang Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta, Monday, June 15, 2026.

The victim died on the spot due to knife-type sharp weapon stab wounds in the stomach and left chest area.

According to the testimony of a witness with the initials VA (30), the stabbing incident occurred on Monday morning at around 01.05 WIB.

"Initially, the victim took her child to meet the perpetrator for personal problems," VA told the officer.

"Then, the perpetrator said, 'Loe why did Jas leave me there alone?'. Then the victim lowered her child who was being carried at that time," he said.

Apparently, the perpetrator took advantage of the opportunity to end the victim's life. The perpetrator immediately stabbed the victim's body with the knife he had prepared.

"From there, the perpetrator has brought a sharp weapon in the form of a kitchen knife. Then stabbed the victim twice," he said.

The victim also lay bleeding as a result of the incident, the victim died at the scene. The perpetrator fled while carrying the knife used to end the victim's life.

Kemayoran Police Chief Kompol Agung Ardiyansyah confirmed the murder. The perpetrator with the initials TA has been arrested by members of the Kemayoran Police Criminal Unit and is currently under investigation.

"For the motive, for the time being, it is because of misunderstanding and revenge. However, the perpetrator's statement is still being investigated by investigators whether there are other motives," said Kompol Agung when confirmed by VOI on Monday morning.
