Jakarta Fair 2026 Officially Opened, Transaction Value Targeted at Rp8 Trillion

The 2026 Jakarta Fair Kemayoran was officially opened on Thursday, June 11 and will run until July 12, 2026.

JAKARTA - The 2026 Jakarta Fair Kemayoran was officially opened today and will run until July 12, 2026. The annual exhibition, which is part of the 499th anniversary of Jakarta, presents thousands of participants from various business sectors.

In his remarks, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung targeted the value of the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2026 transaction to penetrate Rp. 8 trillion. This target is a foothold towards a larger Jakarta Fair next year when Jakarta celebrates its 500th anniversary.

The target was conveyed by Pramono when opening the 2026 Jakarta Fair at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Thursday, June 11. According to Pramono, the holding of this year's Jakarta Fair has a special meaning as it is a series leading up to the celebration of the five centuries of the City of Jakarta in 2027.

"This Jakarta Fair is special when the DKI Jakarta Government next year will welcome five hundred years of Jakarta. And 500 years is a special moment. Not many cities can specifically prepare themselves to welcome five hundred years of Jakarta," said Pramono, Thursday, June 11.

Pramono hopes that the transaction achievement which last year reached Rp7.3 trillion can increase again in this year's implementation.

"Because last year it was more than seven commas and I heard that this year hopefully it can be eight trillion UMKM transactions in this place. If it can be eight trillion, from year to year the record is broken," said Pramono.

In addition to transactions, Pramono also targets the number of visitors to exceed last year's achievement of 5.9 million people.

On that occasion, Pramono also touched on the development of Jakarta's public transportation which was considered increasingly integrated. He invited the public to use public transportation when visiting the Jakarta Fair.

"If there are activities, you can use public transportation. Public transportation in Jakarta is relatively better," he said.

The President Director of PT Jakarta International Expo and Chairman of the Jakarta Fair Committee Kemayoran 2026, Siti Hartati Murdaya, said this year as many as 2,800 companies took part with a total of 1,800 booths spread across the exhibition area.

"This year, 2,800 companies are participating as participants with 1,800 booths showcasing various flagship products," said Hartati.

The 2026 Jakarta Fair carries the theme "Jakarta Fair as a Showcase for Multi-product Entertainment and Business Meetings to Encourage Trade and Investment from MSMEs to National and International Industries".

In addition to being a product promotion event, the Jakarta Fair also presents music concerts, fireworks parties, game rides, carnival parades, and various Indonesian and foreign culinary. Hartati said the achievements of the Jakarta Fair last year were optimistic capital for this year's implementation.

"At last year's Jakarta Fair, the major event recorded 5.9 million visitors with a total transaction between sellers and visitors reaching 7.3 trillion. This achievement shows the enthusiasm of the public and the trust of business actors who make Jakarta Fair one of the effective promotions of various relevant products," said Hartati.
