JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Directorate of Construction, Spatial Planning and Land (Citata) has confirmed that the Pondok Indah Hospital (RSPI) Public Function Certificate (SLF) has expired since 2024. However, the document is currently said to be in the process of being extended.
Head of Sudin Citata South Jakarta Andy Lazuardy emphasized that the status of SLF RSPI was not unlicensed, but was undergoing the administrative phase of extension as required for buildings every five years.
"The SLF is in the process of being extended," Andy told reporters, Tuesday, June 9.
Andy admitted that the validity of the RSPI SLF had expired two years ago. However, the hospital is said to have submitted a process to update the document.
"It ends in 2024. But what is clear is that it is currently in the process of extending the SLF," he said.
According to him, the ongoing process shows an effort from the hospital management to meet the requirements required by the local government. "The point is that they have goodwill or good intentions to extend their SLF," said Andy.
He dismissed the existence of other problems behind the non-issuance of a new certificate. Currently, he said, the focus of the extension process is on fulfilling a number of technical building requirements.
"Nothing else. Currently, it is only in the process of technical repair for the extension of the SLF," said Andy.
In the process of extending the SLF, the applicant is required to complete various technical documents, ranging from building drawings according to existing conditions (as-built drawing), architectural and structural documents, mechanical-electrical systems, fire safety documents, to occupational safety and health requirements (K3).
For health facilities, there are additional requirements related to environmental aspects.
"The essence is almost the same. Only if the hospital, the environmental aspect must still exist. So the environmental permit must also exist," said Andy.
He estimated that the extension process could be completed in a relatively short time if all the required documents have been met.
"It's not difficult. The time is not long either. At most one month," he said.
Previously, the Special Committee (Pansus) for Parking Management of the DKI Jakarta DPRD revealed that RSPI was still operating using an expired SLF. Based on this finding, the Pansus asked the DKI Jakarta Citata Service to immediately issue a warning to the hospital management.
