TABANAN - Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf or Gus Ipul said the People's School program is beginning to show results, especially in the formation of discipline and character of students.

When giving a report to President Prabowo Subianto at SRMP 17 Tabanan, Bali, Sunday (7/6), Gus Ipul said that students who participated in the program experienced a significant change in behavior.

At SRMP 17 Tabanan, there are currently 74 students who have been following the education for more than 10 months.

"They are educated here and there have been tremendous developments," said Gus Ipul.

According to Gus Ipul, students are now showing a more disciplined, more orderly, and more ready attitude to follow the learning process. This change, said Gus Ipul, is also felt directly by parents.

"His parents are all proud," he said.

He said most parents hope their children can continue their education to the next level after participating in the People's School program.

Gus Ipul menilai hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan tidak hanya berfungsi meningkatkan kemampuan akademik, tetapi juga membentuk karakter dan kebiasaan hidup yang lebih baik.

The People's School program itself is intended for children from poor families, children who drop out of school, and vulnerable groups who have had limited access to education.

According to Gus Ipul, character building is one of the main focuses in the implementation of the People's School, in line with the government's efforts to prepare a younger generation that is more ready to face the future.
