Prabowo Routinely Monitors and Evaluates Programs Implemented by Ministries

JAKARTA - The Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi ensures that President Prabowo Subianto continues to regularly monitor and evaluate programs run by ministries/institutions.

"So he as the Head of State, Head of Government, is routinely monitoring all programs of all ministries, conducting evaluations," said Minister of Home Affairs Prasetyo Hadi to reporters at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Thursday, June 4, reported by ANTARA.

However, Prasetyo said, supervision and evaluation do not always lead to specific actions, but rather to ensuring that programs are properly carried out by the relevant ministries/institutions.

Pras also said that supervision was not only carried out on the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program run by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), which is currently being highlighted in conjunction with the arrest of three former leaders by the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) for alleged corruption.

Former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana and two former Deputy BGN Heads, Lodewyk Pusung and Sony Sonjaya, have now been named suspects for allegedly appointing affiliated foundations illegally as partners of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) and carrying out procurement processes, both goods and services, illegally.

The previous president in the National Consolidation of the MBG Program held by BGN in Sentul, Bogor Regency, West Java on Wednesday (3/6), said that he could add the ranks of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Attorney General's Office to ensure the implementation of MBG goes well.

Regarding this, Prasetyo said that supervision also applies to other priority programs and personnel strengthening can be carried out to do so.

"Indeed, we are in the spirit, we really want to try our hardest to fight this culture of corruption," said the Minister of Law and Human Rights.

Prasetyomengatakan perang melawan korupsi itu sudah diserukan oleh Presiden Prabowo Subianto sejak dilantik sebagai Presiden pada 20 Oktober 2024, dan jugapenegasan antikorupsi itu sudah disampaikan oleh Presiden dalam berbagai kesempatan.

"On various occasions he always conveyed that we should all be aware of this, fix our respective institutions, our respective selves, that is what he has always reminded us of," said Prasetyo Hadi.
