To commemorate Eid al-Adha 2026, Thousands of Ojol Jaktim Receive Food and Cash from Mobile Phone Stores

JAKARTA - Thousands of online motorcycle taxi (Ojol) drivers are happy after receiving groceries containing rice, oil, instant noodles, sugar and tea from a mobile phone store in the Ciracas area, East Jakarta.

The distribution of basic necessities was carried out in front of the Lucky Cell store since Friday morning, May 29, 2026, in the morning. From monitoring at the location, the Ojol who had received a VIP invitation immediately sat in a chair. They followed a series of activities before receiving basic necessities from Lucky Cell.

Not only groceries, Ojol VIP guests also received cash assistance and ready-to-eat rice.

The director of PT Lucky Fredy said that his party prepared about 1,000 food packages for ojol and the community around his store.

"The condition is for the East Jakarta area. So in Ciracas and its surroundings. So the number plate whose letters are T will get the food package," said Fredy in a statement received, Friday, May 29, 2026.

He apologized to the ojol driver from outside East Jakarta because his party prioritized the environment where he was trying.

According to him, the distribution of basic necessities was carried out in the context of the celebration of Eid al-Adha 2026.

"We Iduladha as usual, we actually cut the cow. But this year we want something different, right, if the meat is usually from the RT/RW there must be," he explained.

Fredy admitted that the distribution of food packages in the context of Eid al-Adha was only carried out for the first time in 2026. Because, in previous years, only sacrificial meat was distributed to the public and Ojol drivers.

"If the cows are ours every year. But for this staple food, this is the first. For this thousand staple food, this is the first," he said.

He hopes that this activity can be carried out every year and that the public and ojol can meet the nine basic needs for their families at home.

"So for the ojol out there, we can help a little. So hopefully blessings together for everyone," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Ciracas Sub-district, P Ritonga, said that his party appreciated the distribution of basic necessities from Lucky Cell for the community and Ojol in his area.

"Hopefully his business will be blessed and bring good wherever he makes a business and I, on behalf of the government, thank you," he concluded.

He hopes that next year, activities like this can continue to run to help ease the burden of ojol drivers and meet household needs.

Ciracas Police Chief Kompol Rochmad S added that so far, ojol drivers have been very helpful to the police in maintaining the security and order of the area.

"Hopefully this blessing will help the ojol. Alhamdulillah, thank you again, Mr. Freddy, we share it, hopefully it will be blessed," he said.
