Terjaring Razia, Selebgram and Regional Head's Children in Riau Positive for Drugs

PEKANBARU - Selebgram with initials SA and FA, the son of one of the regional heads in Riau, was found positive for consuming narcotics, psychotropic drugs and other dangerous addictive substances (drugs) in the form of marijuana and etomidate along with dozens of other people.

"The results were known from urine tests after they were caught in a raid at a nightclub in Pekanbaru," said the head of the Pekanbaru Police, Kombes Muharman Artha, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 27.

He explained that at around 02.00 WIB, Sunday (24/5) the team found suspected drug abuse in one of the rooms of a nightclub (THM).

"Officers then secured a total of 13 people," he said.

Urine tests were conducted at Bhayangkara Hospital with all positive results.

Those who were caught were initials KS (32), RR (22), GSA (23), TT (28), AF (21), MAY (24), FTR (22), IMF (22), MA (23), NR (23), SAP (22), SA (23), and ALS (23).

From the results of the examination, two people were suspected of being the owners of narcotics evidence, namely FTR was suspected of having dry marijuana leaves with a net weight of 9.8 grams and four cartridges, while MAY was suspected of having dry marijuana leaves weighing 1.2 grams.

From the findings, the police then submitted an integrated assessment to the Pekanbaru City National Narcotics Agency (BNN) to determine further handling steps.

The result is that FR, the owner of the goods, was continued to the investigation, while MAY was categorized as a heavy user and had to undergo hospitalization for three months.

Meanwhile, 11 others were not proven to be involved in the narcotics network and are still considered light users. They are recommended to undergo outpatient treatment at BNN with a duration of three to six meetings.

Regarding the celebrity SA, the head of the Pekanbaru BNN, Kombes Pol Wawan, said that the person concerned also consumed alcohol. Meanwhile, the head of the regional head, FA was positive for etomidate and marijuana due to exposure to smoke.
