President Prabowo Gives Guidance to Candidates for State-Owned Enterprise Leadership

Bogor - President Prabowo Subianto gave a briefing or guidance to 400 participants of the first batch of the Presidential Program for Future Leaders (P3MD) in Hambalang, West Java, Sunday, May 24.

P3MD is a platform for the development of prospective leaders of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) which was initiated by President Prabowo together with the Nusantara Anagata Daya Investment Management Agency (Danantara).

This program not only equips the participants' professional abilities, but also strong leadership and integrity. P3MD is designed in line with President Prabowo's vision of building a better SOE governance through strengthening human capital quality.

This program is one of President Prabowo's efforts in preparing the best cadres to lead SOEs in the future. The main focus of this program is to produce leaders with intellectual capacity, decision-making ability, and commitment to serving the nation and state.

Education in this program lasts for nine months and is divided into three main phases. In the initial phase, participants will undergo character and discipline training for three months. Furthermore, participants receive managerial training and decision-making strategies at Danantara Corporate University for four months.

The final stage is filled with a two-month internship program at ministries, government agencies, and SOEs. Through this program, the government wants to prepare a new generation of SOE leaders who are able to face global challenges, encourage the transformation of state-owned enterprises, and strengthen Indonesia's competitiveness in the future.
