JAKARTA - The police have arrested four men suspected of abusing methamphetamine in the Jalan Lekatu area, Tavanjuka Village, Tatanga District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi.

Kompol Usman said all the suspects are currently undergoing intensive examinations, including urine tests, to complete the investigation file.

From the overall operation, the Palu Police Narcotics Unit seized a total of 3.269 grams of methamphetamine along with a number of other supporting evidence.

The four suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics in conjunction with Article 609 paragraph 1 letter A of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the new Criminal Code.

According to him, his party will continue to take firm action against the circulation of narcotics in Palu City and follow up on any information from the public regarding drug abuse.
