The incident occurred at around 09.50 WIB at a rented house measuring approximately 30 square meters which was inhabited by a married couple with their two sons.
Hamidah explained that she heard a loud sound like an explosion coming from the left side of the roof of the house.
Not long after the sound was heard, an object suspected of being a bullet fell to the floor of the living room.
"I heard a sound like an explosion from above. Not long after a bullet fell to the floor. When I held it, the bullet was still hot," explained Hamidah.
After confirming that the object was a projectile, Hamidah immediately searched for the source of the bullet.
When examined, he found that one part of the ceiling of the house had a hole resembling a gunshot wound.
The hole was right above the living room area of the rented house.
Fortunately, his seven-year-old son survived the incident even though he was studying under the ceiling where the bullet pierced.
Hamidah admitted that she was still shocked to remember the position of the bullet falling only a short distance from her child.
According to him, the projectile fell in an oblique position until it finally landed in front of his cabinet.
The incident was immediately reported to the police.
Not long after, members of the Ciracas Police came to the location to carry out the scene of the crime (TKP) and check the condition of the house.
Officers had to climb to the roof and the roof of the house to look for possible entry points for projectiles and the origin of the shots.
However, until the initial examination was completed, the police had not found another hole in the roof of the house.
Hamidah said that the examination had not been carried out thoroughly at the back of the house because the condition of the building was considered vulnerable.
