Prabowo to Attend Tomorrow's DPR Plenary Meeting to Discuss Finances

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto will attend the 19th Plenary Meeting of the DPR in the V Session Period 2025-2026, Wednesday (20/5) tomorrow.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Saan Mustopamengatakan rapat paripurna tersebutberagendakan penyampaian Kerangka Ekonomi Makro dan Pokok-Pokok Kebijakan Fiskal (KEM-PPKF).

He said the KEM-PPKF and the State Budget Draft (RAPBN) for 2027 would be delivered directly by President Prabowo Subianto.

"The plan is like that. So, for the presentation of the macro economic framework, continue also the fiscal policy points that will be delivered directly by the President," said Saan as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 19.

According to him, this is the first time a President has directly delivered it. In previous years, the government had discussed it through ministers.

The DPR has also issued an agenda for tomorrow's plenary session. Here is the agenda.

1. Submission of the Macroeconomic Framework (KEM) and Fiscal Policy Elements (PPKF) of the 2027 Budget Year by the Government.

2. Report of the DPR RI Legislation Agency on the Evaluation of the Second Amendment to the Priority Bill of 2026, followed by the Decision.

3. Opinion of the Fractions on the Draft Bill of the Commission III Initiative Proposal on Amendments to Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia, followed by the Decision to become the DPR RI Draft Bill.
