Garuda Speaks Out about Directors Being Summoned to the Attorney General's Office

JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia has spoken out about the summons of one of its directors by the Attorney General's Office. The company said the summons was related to a request for information and strengthening coordination on the company's commercial governance.

This commitment is realized through various coordination steps, including an audience and follow-up on the delivery of information related to strengthening commercial governance involving a number of Garuda Indonesia management levels in March 2026.

This step is part of the company's ongoing efforts to support the transformation process, which is currently focused on strengthening the fundamentals of the business, governance, and more prudent, transparent, and accountable business practices.

Garuda Indonesia's Head of Corporate Communications, Dicky Irchamsyah, said that this also straightened the context of a number of news circulating regarding the summoning of one of the directors of Garuda Indonesia.

"We need to clarify that the context of the summons is part of the process of correspondence, discussion and strengthening of coordination carried out by the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia to a number of stakeholders in the current Garuda Indonesia management environment related to strengthening the aspects of corporate governance. Especially regarding several things regarding the Company's governance a few years ago," said Dicky.

Furthermore, Dicky explained that in addition to the Director of Business of Garuda Indonesia, there were a number of other related parties from the management ranks who also carried out correspondence as part of the coordination and alignment process in supporting the optimization of corporate governance.
