KENDARI - The Kendari Police Team, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) arrested the perpetrator of the theft with the initials AD (24) in the elite housing estate of Citraland Kendari. Perpetrators in action use a bra as a mask and abuse the victim.

The Head of the Operations Section of the Kendari Police, AKP Bahtiar, said that the perpetrators of the theft and assault were workers at the Citraland Kendari housing estate.

The suspect entered the victim's house through a window. The perpetrator injured the owner of the house and a maid.

"The victim is a housewife who owns the house with the initials AYS (38) with severe bruises on her right eye due to being hit by the suspect, and a household assistant with the initials HI (19) suffered a stab wound in her stomach and is currently being treated at the Kendari City Hospital, "AKP Bahtiar said, quoted from a written statement via the Public Relations of the Police, Monday, June 7.

AKP Bahtiar said, to cover up his identity the perpetrator used a bra that was in the victim's house and used it as a mask. The perpetrator was arrested at Anduonohu Market while trying to escape by following the instructions from the CCTV footage at the location.

As a result of his actions, the perpetrator was detained at the Kendari Police. The perpetrator is subject to Article 351 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 2 years and 8 months in prison.
