Bogor Regent Adopts Kopassus Values to Accelerate Public Services

BOGOR - Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto adopted the values of discipline and solidarity ala Special Forces Command (Kopassus) to strengthen the performance of the Bogor Regency Government apparatus, West Java, so that public services run faster and more targeted.

On the other hand, Rudy also encouraged the strengthening of synergy between the TNI and the Bogor Regency Government in supporting the acceleration of regional development, especially in the infrastructure sector and poverty alleviation.

"I am confident that with the strong synergy between the TNI and local governments, development can run faster and on target," he said.

Meanwhile, the Commander of Battalion 13 Group 1 Kopassus, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Gerry Heikal Cholid, expressed his appreciation for the support of the Bogor Regency Government for various development programs in the environment of his unit.

He explained that a number of improvements had been made, ranging from renovating unit facilities, building health facilities, to repairing the soldiers' official residence.

In addition, collaboration with local governments and communities has also helped solve a number of problems, including handling the flow of the Cibeuteung River, which had previously often caused flooding.
