Elderly In A Flower Dress Was Hit By A Train In Cianjur, The Witness Said He Had Sat On The Rail

CIANJUR - Two elderly people in Cianjur, West Java, in the past week, died as a result of being struck by the Siliwangi train heading Cianjur-Sukabumi. It is suspected that the two victims did not realize that the train was about to pass.

According to information, the victim died with grievous injuries on Sunday, June 6 while walking on the railroad tracks in Babakan Village, Sukasari Village, Cilaku District. The identity of the victim is currently unknown.

"We are still looking for data on who the elderly woman was who was hit by the train. Because until now, no one has recognized her," said the head of Sukasari, Daden Supriatman when contacted, Antara, Monday, June 7.

He explained that previously residents had seen the elderly wearing a cream colored floral-patterned negligee walking around before the incident. The victim also had time to sit on the rails, until finally residents found the victim was dead.

It is suspected that the victim did not notice the arrival of the train from Cianjur to Sukabumi, so he was immediately struck with serious injuries all over his body. The newspaper's body was immediately taken to the Cianjur Hospital for a post-mortem.

Meanwhile, the head of Cianjur Station, Dede Sulaeman, said that reports of residents being hit by a train over the past week were the second they had received, so his party immediately went to the location.

"We immediately went to the location, but have not been able to provide information regarding the death of the woman without an identity," said Head of Cianjur Station Dede Sulaeman in Cianjur Monday.

Until now, his side together with the authorities are still conducting an investigation. According to eyewitnesses, the victim was hit by a train while walking on the tracks and did not realize the train was about to pass.
