Examination Completed, Roy Suryo Explains This To Add New Evidence

JAKARTA - Former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Roy Suryo has finished undergoing an examination for his reporting on two social media activists, Eko Kuntadhi and Mazdjo Pray. During the examination, Roy explained that there were allegations of defamation to efforts to eliminate evidence.

"So we have completed the questions in the Investigation Report (BAP) and thank God we have submitted all the evidence. Including some screenshots that are still original," Roy told reporters, Monday, June 7.

"So the two perpetrators tried to eliminate the evidence in the form of my name in the hashtag and also the terms in it," continued Roy.

According to Roy, there were about 25 questions asked in the examination process. Investigators explored the initial chronology of the case.

"I have 25 questions. It's mainly about 21 that concern the core, others about health, feeling pressured or not," said Roy.

As for the added evidence, in the form of transcripts of the conversations of the two social media activists. The contents of the transcript make it clear that the complainants mentioned Roy's name as the object of their conversation.

"Other evidence that I submitted earlier was a transcript containing all the conversations, including 33 mentions of my name as well as other evidence," he said.

Roy Suryo previously reported two social media activists, Eko Kuntadhi and Mazdjo Pray, to Polda Metro Jaya. Both were reported on suspicion of defamation.

The report is registered with the number LP/B/2865/VI/2021/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya. This report was made because the two social media activists made videos that were uploaded to the 2045 TV Youtube account.

Where, the video contains the problem of a traffic accident between Roy Suryo and Lucky Alamsyah.

"Because the contents are full of insults and slander. What he tells in this is that he tried to tell the incident of my accident with my LA brother, but from his version, the facts have been twisted," said Roy Suryo at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, June 4 .

Not only that, Roy also mentioned that the two social media activists had mentioned the issue of procurement of goods at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
