Meanwhile, Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan admitted that the price of MinyaKita outside the Bulog network had increased following the market mechanism. Based on monitoring results, the market price ranges from Rp. 19,000 to Rp. 21,000 per liter.
He explained that this condition occurred because the distribution scheme of MinyaKita was divided into two lines, namely about 30 percent through Bulog and 70 percent through the free market.
Based on data, the need for cooking oil in the City of Bandung reaches around 13,500 cartons per week, with around 4,500 cartons supplied by Bulog and the rest from free market distributors.
