BOGOR - The Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Dr. Adityawarman Adil, attended the Retreat Course for Regional Leadership (KPPD) for the Chairmen of the DPRD throughout Indonesia.

The activities which took place at the Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang are scheduled to run for five days, starting from April 15 to 19, 2026.

The event, which brought together hundreds of provincial and district/city legislative leaders, aims to strengthen policy synergy between the center and the regions.

In addition, this activity is carried out to increase the capacity of strategic leadership and foster national insight for regional leaders and strengthen national resilience.

In the first day's activities, Adityawarman Adil said that his presence was part of a commitment to strengthen governance that was in sync with national policies.

"I am with my friends, the Chairmen of the Regional Representative Council throughout Indonesia, to attend the regional leadership strengthening course organized by Lemhannas and the Ministry of Home Affairs," said Adityawarman after completing the registration process at Akmil Magelang, Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

The man who is familiarly called Adit hopes that through this intensive course, the leaders of the DPRD can have a sharper insight in serving the community.

"Hopefully it will run smoothly and be more stable in national vision and community vision," he added.

Through this consolidation course, the Bogor City DPRD is expected to be able to bring home a new strategic framework that can be applied for the progress of development and the welfare of the citizens of the City of Rain.

The 2026 KPPD activity was opened directly by President Prabowo Subianto. For five days, participants will be mobilized with various strategic leadership materials as well as military-like discipline training.

This training is a continuation of the leadership training pattern that was previously also carried out by the heads of regions as a result of the 2024 Pilkada in February 2025 at the same location.

The main focus of this curriculum is the synchronization of central-regional policies so that the implementation of development programs in the regions runs more effectively.

Apart from the aspect of government, this national-scale event also has a positive impact on the local economy in Magelang City.

The arrival of hundreds of delegates from all over Indonesia has boosted the occupancy rate of hotels and provided benefits for MSMEs in the surrounding area of Magelang.
