Livina's Car Hits A Palm Tree In Sanggau, West Kalimantan, 5 People Die Orang

PONTIANAK - The Sanggau District Police, West Kalimantan, is investigating the cause of a single accident in Semuntai Village, Sanggau Regency. The accident caused the death of five passengers in the Grand Livina car.

The Head of the Traffic Accident Unit (Kanit Laka Lalu) of the Sanggau Police, Iptu Sukadi, said that his party was still carrying out the crime scene (TKP) investigation.

Iptu Sukadi explained that the car carrying nine passengers, including students from one of the Islamic boarding schools in Sekayam District, overturned and hit a palm oil tree.

"We will process the crime scene first. After processing the crime scene, all of us will conduct an examination of the witnesses to find out the cause of the single accident that caused the death of five people," he said, quoted by Antara, Sunday, June 9.

Based on the information gathered by his party, the temporary assumption is that the cause of the accident was because the car had swerved to the left, then to the right and exited the asphalt road, then hit a palm tree.

"The vehicle came out of the asphalt at high speed, then hit a palm tree," he continued.

Meanwhile, Sanggau Police Traffic Head AKP Anne Tria Sefyna said that of the nine people in the car, five died. Four survivors are still being treated at the Centra Medika Sanggau Hospital. Meanwhile, the deceased is currently at the MTg Djaman Hospital.
