Hezbollah Launches 72 Attacks on Israel in a Day

JAKARTA - Lebanese Hezbollah fighters carried out 72 combat operations against Israel on Thursday, April 9.

Hezbollah said 36 Israeli attack attempts were repelled throughout the day, while 31 joint attacks were launched on Israeli settlements up to 33 kilometers from the border.

In addition, the Israeli army headquarters, three border posts, and barracks were also attacked.

"The Islamic resistance fighters attacked the enemy's gathering point five times in the city of Bint Jbeil," said the Hezbollah statement, as reported by Sputnik, Friday, April 10.

After a two-week ceasefire between Iran and the United States was announced on Tuesday night, Hezbollah suspended its operations against Israel.

The operation resumed on Thursday after Israel launched a major attack on Beirut and cities in southern Lebanon on Wednesday.
