Police Seized Stolen Motorcycle and Keys Belonging to a Perpetrator of a Robbery in Koja

JAKARTA - Police have seized a number of evidence from two perpetrators of motorcycle theft in Koja, North Jakarta, who were previously attacked by the masses until they were critical.

The head of the Koja Police, Kompol Andry Suharto, said the evidence seized included the victim's motorcycle and the perpetrator's vehicle.

"The victim's black Honda Vario motorcycle was successfully secured. In addition, the perpetrator's red Vario motorcycle was also seized," he said, Monday (6/4/2026).

The police also found tools used by the perpetrator to steal, such as a T-shaped lock and eight key eyes, as well as a master key.

"We also seized various types of keys used by the perpetrators," he added.

The two perpetrators are currently undergoing treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital due to injuries suffered after being harassed by residents.

Two perpetrators of motorcycle theft carrying a weapon resembling a Baretta pistol are now in critical condition and are being treated at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, after being mobbed by the masses in Koja, North Jakarta.

"Both were surrounded by the crowd and were successfully secured by the Koja Police Opsnal team. They were then taken to the Polri Hospital for medical treatment," said Koja Police Chief, Kompol Andry Suharto, Monday (6/4/2026).

The two perpetrators are known as initials A (25) and RR (29), residents of Lagoa, Koja, North Jakarta. The incident occurred in Sawah Baru Village, Gang M No. 36, RT 06/09, Rawa Badak Utara Village, around 11.55 WIB.

The victim, FA (21), a woman, has reported the incident to the police.
