Files For Investigation Of COVID-19 Vaccination Cases In North Sumatra Are Still Complete

JAKARTA - North Sumatra Police investigators are still completing the case files of four suspects in the alleged bribery case in the implementation of illegal COVID-19 vaccination activities.

The Head of Sub-Division of Penmas for the North Sumatra Police, AKBP MP Nainggolan, said the four suspects were SW (40) Medan property agent Polonia (giver of bribes), Dr. /doctor at the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office (receiver of bribes), and SH Head of Surveillance of the North Sumatra Health Service.

He explained that of the four suspects, three suspects (SW, dr IW, and dr KS) had their cases handled by the North Sumatra Police Ditreskrimsus.

"Meanwhile, the suspect, SH, is being handled by the North Sumatra Police Ditreskrimum," said Nainggolan, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, June 5.

Previously, investigators from the Ditreskrimsus on Monday, May 24 examined the witness of the Acting Head of the North Sumatra Health Service (Kadis) Dr AYR, and the former Head of the North Sumatra Health Office Dr AHB as witnesses in the same case.

Then the Ditreskrimum investigators on Tuesday, May 25 examined four witnesses of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) Surveillance & Immunization staff at the North Sumatra Health Service in the case of illegal COVID-19 vaccination.

The four ASNs who were questioned were HS (staff in charge of district/city special programs), MRN (report input staff), DT (as vaccinators to record entry and exit of vaccines), and dr KS (vaccinators). The four witnesses were staff from suspect SH, Head of Surveillance of the North Sumatra Health Service.

Furthermore, Direskrimsus investigators on Friday, May 28 examined TAP, Karutan Class I Medan, as a witness in the illegal COVID-19 vaccination case. The North Sumatra Police have named four suspects in the alleged bribery case in the implementation of the illegal COVID-19 vaccination activity.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 18 at 15.00 WIB, with the suspect SH as the organizer of carrying out vaccination activities that were not in accordance with the designation for community groups at the Jati Residence Housing Complex on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Medan Perjuangan District, Medan City.
