JAKARTA - Senior political analyst Boni Hargens held a prayer with hundreds of orphans and residents at his residence, the House of Peace, Depok, West Java, Saturday, March 28, in the context of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.

The activity is focused as a form of concern for the global condition which is considered to be unstable, as well as praying for world peace.

"Our world today is not going well. There is a conflict between America and Israel with Iran, as well as the Russian-Ukrainian war which is not yet over. All of this has an impact on global instability," Boni said in his remarks.

He assessed that conflicts in various regions have had a wide impact, not only on human life, but also on environmental conditions and international stability.

Therefore, according to him, prayer is one of the steps that can be taken by the community to encourage the creation of peace.

"We pray that God will give wisdom to world leaders to prioritize dialogue, not violence," he said.

In addition to joint prayers, the activity was also filled with the provision of assistance to orphans as a form of social concern.

Boni emphasized that he chose to encourage social and spiritual activities rather than delivering analyses that could potentially cause public unrest.

He also invited the public to pray for the government to be able to face the impact of global conflicts on the domestic situation.

"We invite the public to continue to pray for the good of the nation and the country as well as world peace," he said.
