Bogor City DPRD Requests Strict Supervision of PKL Arrangements in Suryakencana

BOGOR - Member of the Bogor City DPRD, Achmad Rifki Alaydrus, emphasized the importance of strict supervision in arranging street vendors (PKL) in the Suryakencana area, especially on Bata Street, Babakan Pasar Village, Central Bogor District.

"The record is that supervision must be monitored properly. The point is that Satpol PP must also be more strict and divided into zones according to conditions on the ground," said Rifki when he directly reviewed the enforcement process, Thursday, March 26.

He assessed that the success of the arrangement of the area was not only determined during the enforcement process, but also on the consistency of supervision afterwards. Without continuous supervision, he said, the potential for street vendors to sell on the side of the road will remain.

Rifki also encouraged traders to immediately occupy the relocation locations that have been prepared by the government, such as the Jambu Dua Market and the Gembrong Sukasari Market.

"Hopefully in the future this area can be more orderly and clean, and traders can be moved to the location that has been provided," he said.

During the review, he also highlighted the issue of cleanliness, especially the presence of garbage that clogged the drainage channels around the location. He asked that this be addressed immediately so as not to cause environmental problems in the future.

However, Rifki appreciated the attitude of most traders who were considered cooperative and willing to follow the rules of arrangement implemented by the Bogor City Government.
