The Scope Of The White House Is Starting To Be Threatened By COVID-19

JAKARTA - At least two White House staff have tested positive for COVID-19. One of them, is a spokesman for Vice President Mike Pence, Katie Miller.

Apart from being a spokesperson for vice president Mike Pence. Miller is also still in Trump's close circle. Where he has been writing speeches for Trump several times.

Meanwhile, one of the others is a personal assistant to Ivanka Trump, the daughter of US President Donald Trump. Launching from CNN, these staff tested positive without experiencing any symptoms of the Corona virus disease.

This also raises concerns, if the White House area could be one of the hot spots for the new spread of the COVID-19 virus in America. This is because Trump, who recently campaigned in a number of states, also often conducts press conferences directly at the White House.

In a separate statement, the White House Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, explained that it had taken precautionary steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the White House area.

"I can tell you, we are taking detailed steps to protect the president. We have clean facilities. We also maintain a distance of about 1 meter from each other," McEnany told reporters.

After confirmation of the White House staff who were positive for COVID-19. Both Trump and Pence are rumored to have to go back through the coronavirus test swabs, even though both had tested negative.

Not only Trump, the White House plans to undergo daily COVID-19 test swabs. This step was taken to minimize the risk of an outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic at the White House which could be a direct threat to Trump.
