Banten - The Banten Regional Police has strengthened security for the 1447 Hijriah Eid return by placing personnel at a number of strategic points, especially in tourist areas and ferry ports.

Apart from deploying personnel, the Banten Police have also set up various posts along the main return route. These posts serve as coordination centers as well as resting places for drivers.

He detailed that there were four types of posts that were alerted, namely the security post focused on the stability of regional security, the service post providing technical and medical assistance for drivers, the integrated post of cross-agency coordination center, the SAR post was alerted specifically in locations that were crowded with people to anticipate emergencies.

Maruli appealed to all people who travel back to always be alert and maintain physical condition during the trip.

"We urge the public to always be careful when driving, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and follow the instructions of officers in the field to create a safe, orderly, and smooth journey," said Maruli.
