DENPASAR - The Bali Regional Police's Cyber Investigation Directorate has named a Swiss citizen, Luzian Andrin Zgraggen, as a suspect in the alleged insult to Nyepi Day.
Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Commissioner General of Police Ariasandy, explained that the disclosure of this case was carried out by personnel from Sub-Directorate III of the Bali Police on March 20-21, 2026, based on the upload of the foreign national on social media which was widely discussed by residents.
This case began on Friday, March 20, 2026 at around 08.00 Wita, when officers conducted a cyber patrol and found a post on the Instagram account @luzzysun.

Ariasandy said after profiling, officers managed to identify the account owner as Luzian Andrin Zgraggen, a Swiss citizen.
Furthermore, officers are searching for the whereabouts of the person concerned.
On the same day at around 20.30 Wita, officers who followed the suspect's movements from Kuta to Ubud found the suspect at Ni Luh Djelantik's residence in the Tumbak Bayuh area, Mengwi, Badung.
At the request of Ni Luh Djelantik, the foreigner was then secured to the Bali Police Ditreskrim for further examination.
