The Id prayer started at 06.30 WIB. Ma'ruf Amin, wearing all white clothes, started the sermon at 06.50 WIB and finished at around 07.11 WIB. Thousands of worshipers crowded the courtyard of the DKI Jakarta City Hall.
Also present at the Id prayer were, among others, Deputy Governor Rano Karno, Regional Secretary Uus Kuswanto, and a number of former officials of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
After the sermon, Ma'ruf Amin and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government staff met with the people who attended.
