Biological Mother Kills Baby For 15 Days In Banten Arrested, Police Reveal Motives Until Perpetrators Are Violent

BANTEN - The Lebak Police in Banten arrested the perpetrator who molested a 15-day-old baby. Barbaric, the act of murder was actually carried out by his own mother.

"The arrest of the perpetrator was at a hotel in Serang, Thursday, May 3 yesterday," said Head of the Lebak Police, AKBP Ade Mulyana in Lebak, as reported by Antara, Friday, May 4.

The perpetrator with the initials PS (31) is a resident of Rangkasbitung, Lebak Regency. PS is still being investigated by officers to explore the motive for the abuse of his own 15-day-old child.

The baby molestation case went viral on social media. The victim with the initials AK (15 days) was found with bruises on his face due to the beating of his biological mother.

The criminal incident began with a domestic dispute between PS and her husband, IR (30), on Sunday, May 31, to violence that led to abuse of the baby by the biological mother herself.

Thus, he said, IR reported PS to the Lebak Police for the abuse. Perpetrators can be subject to Article 44 paragraph 1 of Law Number 23/2004 concerning Domestic Violence and or Article 76C in conjunction with Article 80 of Law Number 35/2014 Amendment to Law Number 23/2002 concerning Child Protection.

"Child molesters themselves can face up to five years in prison," he said.
