Until now, the extinguishing effort is still being carried out through land routes by a joint team that has been at the scene.
"Officers in the field are still carrying out extinguishing and cooling at the location. All joint teams continue to work to control the fire so that it does not spread," he said.
Meanwhile, the helicopter water bombing assistance from the National Disaster Management Agency is still in the process of being prepared and has not arrived in Riau Province.
Therefore, for the time being, the extinguishing efforts still rely on the strength of personnel and equipment on land.
