Good News from Simpang Lima: Trans Semarang Passengers Can Get Free Iftar Packages

SEMARANG - The Central Java Dhuafa Wallet in synergy with the Semarang City Transportation Office (Dishub) held a social action in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan. On Friday (06/03/2026), hundreds of fasting packages and dozens of grocery packages were distributed to service users and Trans Semarang officers.

The activity, which took place at the Trans Semarang Stop, in the Simpang Lima area, targeted the distribution of 500 fasting packages for passengers and 60 grocery packages for the cabin crew and cabin attendants.

Encouraging Welfare in the Month of Ramadan 1447 H

The Head of the Dompet Dhuafa Central Java Branch, Zaini Tafrikhan, stated that this agenda is a tangible form of collaboration between various parties to support the economy of the lower class during Ramadan.

"Alhamdulillah, this agenda is a joint effort to encourage economic growth through the food package we share. In addition, we distributed 500 fasting packages for Trans Semarang users," said Zaini on the sidelines of the activity.

This Ramadan 1447 H, Dompet Dhuafa Central Java actively invites various lines of society - from stakeholders, corporations, to communities - to collaborate in social welfare programs.

Head of the Semarang City Transportation Office, Danang Kurniawan, welcomed this initiative positively. He hopes that this sharing action will not only stop here, but can inspire similar movements in the future.
