JAKARTA - A mother with the initials OLH asked the National Police Chief for attention to the report of alleged child protection crimes that she filed at the North Jakarta Metro Police.

The report was registered with the number: LP/B/568/IV/2024/SPKT/Polres Metro Jakut/Polda Metro Jaya regarding the alleged psychic violence in the household against minors.

In its report, the OLH accused her ex-husband with the initials DSD of giving his children high-dose sedatives for years without a clear medical diagnosis.

As a result, the child is said to have experienced a disruption in activity, including difficulty waking up in the morning to have to go to school online.

OLH admitted that he had undergone a (BAP) examination by investigators from the North Jakarta Metro Police. However, until now, he said he had not received a Letter of Notification of the Development of Investigation Results (SP2HP) as the right of the reporter.

"This matter is like hanging, there is no clarity about its continuation. I am considering reporting to Propam if the handling is not professional," OLH told reporters, Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

Furthermore, OLH together with his lawyer, Suhandi Cahaya, has also visited the North Jakarta Metro Police to meet the investigators' call regarding another report that he also submitted.

The report was recorded with Number: LP/B/4272/VI/2025/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, with Investigation Order Number: Sp.Lidik/3113/VII/RES.1.24/2025/Reskrim dated July 15, 2025.

Suhandi Cahaya as OLH's lawyer stated that his client had provided additional clarification and hoped that the investigation process could run thoroughly and transparently.

According to him, there were a number of previous reports that had not shown significant progress, including the alleged child abduction and forgery of authentic documents.

In addition, his party has also sent a letter of request for protection and supervision to the Ministry of Health, the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), and the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia.

"We hope there will be legal certainty because this concerns the best interests of the child who is suspected of suffering from psychological disorders due to the incident," said the victim's lawyer.

OLH added that her son was allegedly abducted on July 2, 2023. Since then, he has accused his son of being given a certain type of sedative in high doses, as well as restricted access to communication with his biological mother and his circle of friends.

"My son was cheerful and accomplished before. Now his condition is different," said OLH while showing a number of his son's achievement certificates and medals.

Not only reporting her ex-husband, OLH through her lawyer also reported a child psychiatrist to the Medical Profession Discipline Council for alleged violations of professional discipline.

The complaint concerns the administration of sedatives to minors, which is said to be without direct examination and without adequate medical indications.

Until this news was released, the North Jakarta Metro Police had not given an official statement regarding the development of the report.
