Fadia Arafiq was born on May 23, 1978 in Jakarta. She is the daughter of senior dangdut singer, Ahmad Rafiq. As a child of a singer, Fadia was first known as a dangdut singer who had released a song titled Cik Cik Bum Bum.

Fadia Arafiq studied at the Bachelor's level (S1) at the University of Abadi Karya Indonesia Semarang majoring in Management. After that he continued his Master's (S2) Management education at Stikubank University Semarang. He then continued his doctoral education (S3) at the University of 17 August Semarang.

As the daughter of a singer, Fadia Arafiq does not have experience in government. Her political career she got after successfully serving as Deputy Regent of Pekalongan in the 2011-2016 period. At that time she accompanied Amat Antono.

After his term of office ended, Fadia Arafiq's political career continued to rise. In 2016 he was appointed as the Chairman of the Golkar Party DPD Pekalongan Regency until 2021. His career did not stop there.
