Pidana) of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.
"The perpetrators are threatened with the death penalty or life imprisonment or 20 years in prison," said Kombes Indra at a press conference at the Tanjungpinang Police Headquarters, Friday, February 27.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Tanjungpinang Police, AKP Wamilik Mabel, said the perpetrator was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit along with the Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Tanjungpinang Police in the Bintan Regency area, Wednesday night, or about three hours after the incident.
The perpetrator tried to escape by riding a motorcycle from Tanjungpinang to Bintan.
"We are still investigating the mental condition of the perpetrator," said AKP Wamilik.
Suspect N is currently being held at the Tanjungpinang Police to answer for his actions.
