JAKARTA - A man carrying an axe carried out a terror attack while mosque worshippers in Manchester were performing Tarawih prayers on Tuesday, February 24 at night local time.
Citing the Independent, Thursday, February 26, the perpetrator was a white man in his 40s who entered the Manchester Central Mosque in the Victoria Park area, south of Manchester, at around 20.40.
The perpetrator was then arrested by the police who also secured the ship and confiscated the B-class drugs.
The police said the perpetrator carried out terror at the mosque with a black man who is currently still being pursued by officers.
No one was injured in the incident.
