JAYAPURA - The Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force arrested a member of the armed criminal group (KKB) Meno Heluka who was involved in the shooting of TNI soldiers which resulted in the death of Sergeant Head Segar Mulyana on June 16, 2025.

Head of the Peace Public Relations Task Force, Inspector General of Police Yusuf Sutejo, said Meno Heluka was arrested in the Dekai Market area, Yahukimo Regency, Papua Mountains, on Monday, February 23, after being observed for two days around Terminal 88 and allegedly intending to shift to the Korowai area.

After confirming the presence of the KKB member, the Yahukimo Unit Law Enforcement Team arrested and brought him to the Yahukimo Police in Dekai for questioning.

Meno Heluka is one of the core members of the Kopitua Heluka group, which together with his group is active in carrying out armed violence in the Papua highlands.

Before arresting Meno, said Yusuf, the team monitored and deepened the movement in question and after confirming his whereabouts, an arrest was immediately carried out.

Serka Segar Mulyana is an army soldier who serves as a Village Development Officer (Babinsa) in the Yahukimo area, with the responsibility of carrying out territorial development as well as maintaining public security and order.
