JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta temporarily stopped a number of service routes on Friday morning, February 20, due to flooding that occurred at several points after heavy rain hit the capital region.

Head of Public Relations and CSR Department of PT Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani, said there were operational adjustments on a number of routes and services during the morning rush hour.

"There are operational adjustments on several Transjakarta routes and services during the morning rush hour on Friday," said Ayu Friday morning.

He explained that the routes that were temporarily stopped included 1C (Block M-Pesanggrahan) and 8E (Block M-Bintaro Kodam) due to flooding on Haji Gari Street in both directions. In addition, the JAK 32 Microtrans service (Petukangan-Lebak Bulus) and JAK 49 (Lebak Bulus-Cipulir) were also temporarily stopped due to flooding on Bintaro Permai Street (Haji Gari) and Ciledug Raya Street (ITC Cipulir).

Meanwhile, a number of other routes have been diverted. Route 1M (Block M - Meruya) was diverted due to flooding of about 50 centimeters on Jalan Swadarma Raya. Route 5N (Kampung Melayu - Ragunan) was also diverted due to the overflow of the river in the Pasar Kambing lane.

For the JAK 22 Microtrans service (Dwikora-Penas Kalimalang), operations were shortened following a puddle of 30 to 40 centimeters at Simpang Cawang.

In addition, several other Microtrans routes were diverted, namely JAK 27 (Pulogebang-Rorotan), JAK 37 (Cililitan-Condet via Kayu Manis), JAK 40 (Pulogebang-Pasar Modern), JAK 71 (Kampung Rambutan-Pinang Ranti), and JAK 95 (Lebak Bulus-Terminal Pasar Minggu).

Transjakarta urges customers to monitor the latest information through the company's official channels to adjust travel plans. "Stay careful on the road and make sure your trip remains comfortable by checking the route again before leaving," said Ayu.
