"Yes, there were two victims who died due to being buried by the excavation," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 6.

He explained, based on initial information, the two victims were suspected of digging at the location because they believed there was treasure stored around the former rice mill building.

About a month before the incident, the two were said to have performed a ritual guided by a woman with the initials F. From the provisional statement, F directed the victim to dig several points in the area.

Then the victim returned to one of the excavation holes to check. However, when entering the hole, the two allegedly slipped and were buried by a landslide.

He added that currently the police are still investigating the woman with the initials F and conducting further investigations to determine whether there is a criminal element in the incident.

"It is still under investigation and investigation," he said.
