Golkar Prepares Candidate for Commission III Leadership After Sari Yuliati Becomes Waka DPR

JAKARTA - Golkar Party Secretary General Muhammad Sarmuji, said that the candidate for the leadership of Commission III of the DPR to replace Sari Yuliati is still being prepared by the party. He said, in time the candidate for the deputy chairman of Commission III of the DPR from the Golkar Faction will be announced soon.

"It is still being profiled for a while. Maybe we will decide again," said Sarmuji at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 4.

So far, according to Sarmuji, Golkar has determined several candidates to fill the vacancy for the leadership of the DPR Commission III. However, he emphasized, their names have not yet been made public.

"There are several candidates but we can't say it yet. Yes, there may be two or three," he said.

It is known that Sari Yuliati previously served as Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR from the Golkar Faction.

However, in the last plenary meeting, Sari was appointed as deputy speaker of the DPR to replace Adies Kadir who was approved by the DPR as a candidate for Constitutional Court (MK) judge. Sari Yuliati is currently the general treasurer of the Golkar Party.
