JAKARTA - The Russian military has successfully deployed drones that have destroyed bunkers to US main battle tanks (MBT) capable of carrying 10 kilograms of explosives to the Ukrainian battlefield.
The manufacturer, Uraldronzavod, said the new high-capacity Upyr-18 drone had been put into operation in the Kupyansk and Konstantinovka sectors of a special military operation area.
The drone is capable of destroying a bunker reinforced with a 10-kilogram mine, according to Uraldronzavod.
"The Upyr-18 drone, named after its 18-inch-sized frame, is capable of carrying a 10-kilogram mine for dozens of kilometers, attacking fortified bunkers and enemy positions. Its increased carrying capacity makes it possible to use it in supplying military units near the contact line," the company told TASS, as quoted (1/2).
Further, Uraldronzavod revealed that they intend to increase the production of Upyr-18 drones.
