JAKARTA - The former Chairman of the South Sulawesi Democratic Party (NasDem) DPW, Rusdi Masse Mappasesu with the acronym (RMS), finally decided to join the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) in the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Thursday.

The moment of joining the RMS came after the Chairman of the PSI Kaesang Pangarep delivered a pantun at the end of his political oration in the Rakernas arena.

Previously, Rusdi Masse had been the Regent of Sidenreng Rappang Regency (Sidrap) for two periods, and had occupied the position of Chairman of the Golkar Party's DPD II in Sidrap. His political career began with the Reformist Star Party (PBR).
