Bahlil's statement tickles, Wakafkan Adies Kadir to the Constitutional Court

JAKARTA - The Chairman of the Golkar Party, who is also the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, expressed his willingness to release Adies Kadir to carry out his duties as a Constitutional Court Judge.

Adies previously was a Golkar Party cadre who served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. Adies Kadir's name had surfaced regarding the many Rp50 million DPR members' house allowance.

With his new position as a Constitutional Court judge, Adies Kadir must also relinquish his status as a Golkar Party cadre.

Adies Kadir's position in the DPR was then replaced by Sari Yuliati, the General Treasurer of the Golkar Party.
