Annoyed At Being Reprimanded For Brong's Exhaust, Three People Gang Up On The Victim In North Kuta, Broken Finger

BADUNG - Three East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) residents from West Sumba were arrested by a team from the North Kuta Police, Badung Regency, Bali, for beating them up. The victim's finger was broken.

The three perpetrators were named Agustinus Kesaata (23), Bili Bara Baggi (33) and Hasim Tamulahaga (23). The three ganged up on a private employee named I Ketut Partawan (37) from Julah Village, Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency, Bali.

"When arrested, the suspects admitted their actions," said North Kuta Police Chief AKP Putu Kurniawandari, Monday, May 31.

The beating occurred on Jalan Muding Indah V. No. 10 X Br. Muding Kaja, Kerobokan Kaja Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, in the early hours of Thursday, May 13.

At that time, the victim was smoking in front of his boarding house, then the perpetrators came riding three motorbikes with bran exhaust and stopped in front of the victim's boarding house.

Next, the victim approached the perpetrator and asked where he was going and reprimanded the perpetrator. The victim reprimanded asking to drive slowly because the exhaust is Brong because it is very disturbing to local residents.

However, the warning made the perpetrators offended and ganged up on the victim and attacked the victim using stones and knives.

"The perpetrator was about to take the victim's motorbike, then the victim took a machete to scare the perpetrator and finally the perpetrator fled," he added.

The victim reported the beating to the police until the perpetrator was finally arrested on Friday, May 28 in South Denpasar.

"As a result of the incident the victim suffered head injuries, broken fingers on his left hand, wounds on his left wrist and cuts to his stomach. Subsequently, the victim was rushed to the Mangusada Kapal Hospital," he said.

The three suspects were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 9 years in prison. Police confiscated a number of evidence in the form of stones, knives and motorcycles.

"Now the suspects are being held at the North Kuta Police Rutan," said AKP Kurniawandari.
